Santa Barbara Courthouse Elopement-Santa Barbara-California

Kyle + Christine found me online as they decided to elope in Santa Barbara at the historic, Spanish-Moorish courthouse that was built in 1929. I was so so happy to be available that Tuesday and not only get to document their love but be their witness! Yes, my first time as a photog and witness 😉 We met in the morning and it wasn’t hard to spot Christine in her incredibly stylish Self-Portrait Azalia dress with Alpha Florals to boot! After their intimate ceremony I got to know the Mr. + Mrs. by following them around the courthouse. There is something to be said about keeping it small, intimate, personal and simple. Take a look at some of their beauty.

After spending the morning at the courthouse we moved to the breathtaking San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito to take some post ceremony celebratory, fun ones! We wandered the grounds, poured sparkling wine and toasted in front of their personalized bungalow. And doesn’t everyone wish they could follow up their marriage with a fierce game of corn hole at a luxury resort….ummmmm yes…I DO! Kyle and Christine made this day their own to remember forever.

The newlyweds are already back in Long Beach getting ready to embark on a bigger gathering in Portugal this fall. Best wishes to a most beautiful, adventurous couple. So fortunate for our paths to have crossed 🙂

  1. I am assuming the couple stayed at San Ysidro Ranch in order to be able to take photos there?
